Tinker: Ethical TechLab is a research duo at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, focused on critical research into technology and its ethical implications. We explore the dark sides of tech and develop methods for integrating ethical awareness into ICT education.

Through provocative prototyping⁰¹, speculative design⁰² and critical making⁰³ we develop the Dark Tech Method—a transferable approach for ethical integration in technology education. Our work centers on the Dark Tech Studio, where students create provotypes that make confronting scenarios visible and explore the ethical boundaries of technology.
